課程概述

本課程取徑文化地理學，聚焦首爾、東京、上海、香港、台北等城市，探討當代東亞都市的發展與文化再現之間的關連。讀本內容分為三個單元：第一單元引介相關理論取向，含括本課程之重要知識論與關懷；第二單元分析東亞城市的全球化發展，以期理解東亞城市發展之背景與脈絡；第三單元從文學、藝術、電影與地景等文化文本所再現的都市，討論跨都市文化流動以及都市文化與都市發展之間的關連。

課程目標

課程採用課堂講授、口頭報告、上課討論與影片觀賞等方式，讓同學透過文化地理學的視角與方法論，嘗試以多重觀點來理解東亞城市的不同面向，並學習跨領域的研究方法。
